Crafting Soul-Touching Stories for Catholic Organizations
ReAwaken Media partners with Catholic organizations to craft professional-grade video and social media content that reawakens communities from the inside. We combine modern communication strategies with a deep understanding of the Catholic Faith to help you engage your audience, drive in-person involvement, and amplify your mission. Whether it’s inspiring volunteers, growing small groups, or sharing the “why” behind tithing, we create media that moves hearts and souls.
Our one core value: Radical Trust in Jesus Christ
Every project, every story—He is guiding us closer to Him, revealing something He wants us to share.
He is always with us.

Meet the founders

John Stokman is a digital marketer passionate about increasing online engagement for organizations that need a little extra help.
Before graduating from the University of St. Thomas in 2018 with a B.A. in Business, he attended Techstars—one of the world’s premier startup incubators—with VidGrid, a software company, where he led marketing initiatives that helped drive its growth and eventual sale to a publicly traded company in 2020. John has worked at the seminary since 2019, helping grow the YouTube channel from 500 subscribers to 12,000+ subscribers and more than 1 million views of videos across social media platforms.
Beyond his business achievements, John is a musician, whose EP “Home” available on Spotify and all platforms. He resides in St. Paul with his wife and is an active parishioner at the Cathedral of Saint Paul.

Jonathan Vikesland is a filmmaker and strategist passionate about using visual storytelling to inspire action. He has spent over 20 years producing high-impact content for non-profits, businesses, and churches.
Before going full-time in media, he spent nine years teaching math and statistics, which, believe it or not, taught him a thing or two about making complex ideas clear and engaging. Jonathan holds an M.A. in Mathematics from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a B.A. in Mathematics and Political Science from the University of Minnesota. He’s also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), which basically means he knows how to get things done without chaos.
Guided by his Catholic faith, Jonathan is dedicated to leveraging creative storytelling as a means of evangelization, helping Catholic organizations articulate their mission, grow their reach, and inspire deeper engagement. He lives in Minnesota with his wife and five children.
